GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS 2012 

Spinning®

An interval cycling class held on stationary spinning bikes great for all levels from beginner to advanced. Choose your own resistance while you sprint, jump, climb, and race your way to the finish line.

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 5:45 - 6:45am, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 5:30 - 6:30pm, Wednesday/Friday: 9:00 - 10:00am

Beginner - Friday: 10:00 - 10:45am 

 

Step

Cardio-fun on the Reebok Step! Upbeat choreographed combinations ensured to burn fat and increase your cardiovascular endurance.

Monday and Wednesday: 9:15 - 10:00am

Beginner - Thursday: 10:15 - 11:15am (+ Core)


Power Hour

Wake up and sweat to this powerful combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises targeting full body tonig and strengthening.

Friday: 6:15 - 7:00am

 

Rock, Sweat, Weights

Exhilarating combination of low rep strength exercises and cardio intervals delivering a muscle building, fat burning, full body workout.

Monday: 5:15 - 6:00pm


Boot Camp

Interval Training focused on cardiovascular and muscular endurance through step, high and low impact floor work, resistance training, and non-stop action.

Tuesday and Thursday: 9:15 - 10:15am, Wednesday: 5:15 - 6:00pm, Friday: 10:15 - 11:15am

 
Zumba®

Dance choreography fusing hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness workout that will blow you away!

Monday and Wednesday: 5:30 - 6:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday: 6:15 - 7:15pm, Tuesday: 10:15 - 11:15am, Friday: 9:15 - 10:15am, Saturday: 10:00 - 11:00am, Sunday: 2:30 - 3:30pm.


PowerPump

Great full body workout for those trying to obtain both muscular strength and endurance using barbells, free weights, and more!

Monday and Wednesday: 10:15 - 11:00am (Core starts at 10am), Thursday: 5:15 - 6:15pm, Saturday: 9:00 - 10:00am.


Step Weights & More

A Cardiovascular and Strength Training interval class, instructor's choice to include cardio intervals of step and/or floor work with strength training exercises, guarenteed to be a fat burner.

Tuesday: 5:15 - 6:15pm


Core Strength

15 – 30 minutes focused solely on the muscles used to stabilize and coordinate your body’s everyday movements: Back, Chest, Abdominals, Obliques, Butt, and Hips!

Monday and Wednesday: 10:00 - 10:15am, Monday and Wednesday: 6:00 - 6:30pm


ACTIVE OLDER ADULT CLASSES:

Flexibility n’ Function

A mat and stability ball class designed specifically for older adults focusing on full body flexibility, increased core strength, and maximizing confidence in ones’ ability to perform everyday movements.

Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 - 10:45am


SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength and Range of Movement

Chair based-class for older adults, designed to increase; strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination and to improve participants’ functional capacities, physical fitness level, and sense of well-being.

Monday and Wednesday: 9:00 - 9:45am


SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit

Advanced class for older adults, designed to increase; cardiovascular and muscular endurance capacity as well as agility, balance, and coordination.
